Pixel 9 Rawn Photos Lose Quality in Lightroom

I'm trying to import .dng photos into lightroom.  They look sharp with lots of detail when I open via Microsoft photos viewer or on my phone when I zoom in.  As soon as I import into Lightroom they look fine but then it says "loading" for 3-5 seconds and the photo loses a lot of detail.  It looks like someone smeared vaseline all over it.  Any ideas?  I'm super sad that all my raw photos from a trip might be uneditable in lightroom.  I included a picture zoomed in on a cloud to show the loss of detail.  Left is lightroom.  Right is Microsoft photos.

Go into the profiles section on Lightroom, change the Profile from the default Google Pixel Profile to Adobe Color or some other Adobe Profile.

Alternatively, you can tap and hold the google pixel profile and turn the slider down to zero.

I am trying to understand and remedy the same issue. The file is larger ( file size) but dimensions are lessor.  It is soft and ther eis no apparant way to sharpen or treat the file. Could be that Lightroom does not have the ability to handle Pixel Raw/DNG files. looking at the file in windows explorer the resolution is tha same as lightroom shows... raw is smaller dimensions than jpg. WTF. and why the greater file size with lower resolution... need help for sure here not sure who to call... google? AT&T...

Same here very annoying.
dng - lower resolution and blurry, jpg - sharp and higher resoultion.
