When I sync (reset) my Portfolio to match my Lightroom gallery, it updates with my photos but not their edits. Help?
These edits were made and saved the day before, so it doesn't appear to be a lag/delay issue.

You will need to resed the images. From LrD, on the left panel.
Find the "All Photos" -> "Connections" -> "Adpbe Portfolio"
Once selected the projects should be visible in the main body. On the desired project, there should be a resend action item on the far right. Select this to send the images over to Portfolio again.
Syncing with Portfolio is manually initiated, not automatic.

Thank you for response.
It was a reasonable assumption that I must not know that syncing with Portfolio is manual, but maybe it was unclear what I meant when I said "When I sync (reset) my Portfolio to match my Lightroom gallery, it updates with my photos but not their edits."
I know they need to be connected manually and I have initiated the resetting exactly as you just said numerous times. Screen grabs that prove I know how it is done:
Resetting this multiple times, only to be told to reset it again, adds to my confusion and frustration.
Someone please help!

Also feels worth mentioning - I have also tried clearing my browser cache with no success.

I would like to re-iterate so there are no uncertain terms that I understand the content of this Portfolio FAQ Knowledge base page and have attempted this solution multiple times:

Also - this Resend button in Lightroom also does not update the Portfolio images:

I have also tried deleting the album and then re-importing it. No change.
It also seems worth mentioning that Portfolio appears to be receiving the updated information about the dimensions/proportions of the updated images, just not the images themselves.
Below, the orange-tinted image is the unedited image as it appears on the Portfolio website. It's not color-corrected, but you can see the aspect is "squished."
Meanwhile, you can see from my edited photo that I re-cropped it to be square:
So somehow, some way, Portfolio "knows" the image has been updated. It's just not bringing in all the data.
The aspect ratio it's showing is appropriate - just not the image inside it.

I barely use Portfolio and have not had the issue you see. Not sure, all these steps are required, but I have always done the following three steps:
1. Sync from Lr again
2. Update Pf pages (per the FAQ directions you posted)
3. Select "publish site" again in Pf
No idea is all steps required. But that is what works for me (I only use it once or twice a year).
Good luck,
Tim

No go. (Resending from Lightroom, resetting from Portfolio, and updating the live site, do not update the unfinished pictures in my Portfolio.) Thanks anyway.
Hopefully someone else who uses Portfolio sync/reset more regularly can help?
This is the worst one to look at - this one is FROZEN on my portfolio MID-EDIT!! 😑

Thank you for trying. None of it works. Not resending, not resetting, not publishing. My pictures are staying old.
The worst one is this - it's frozen on my portfolio in this gross, mid-edited state.
Are there any other options where I can go to get help?
If I were to give up on Portfolio, what other portfolio website service do y'all recommend?

I keep replying to this and then it disappears.

I have responded to this like 5 times. Adobe shows it like I posted it and then when I reload it's gone.

I've also responded to this forum with this post 3 times and every time, after I hit Post, and then look at it, it disappears.
Seems like Adobe is refusing my updates all over the place 😂

Have you verified that the edits that you have made in the Lightroom desktop app have definitely reached the cloud, either by checking on the LrWeb app in a browser window (login at lightroom.adobe.com), or by checking in LrMobile (if you have that installed on a phone/tablet)? A long shot, for sure, but technically when you send data to Portfolio it is sent from the cloud server, so we just need to check that the edits you see in the Lightroom desktop app have definitely synced to your cloud account.

Yes, the edits are definitely in the cloud and I can access them through Lightroom across multiple devices.
I ended up deleting my Portfolio hoping that disconnecting and starting over would solve the problem, but now I'm stuck because Lightroom refuses to disconnect from Portfolios that no longer exist.

You might have to wait for Adobe to return from their vacation, as I guess they're going to have to figure that out. I just tried deleting a project from LrD, then clicking on the Launch Site button when that dialog appeared. That duly opened a browser window with the Portfolio site, there I deleted the project from the Pages tab and that did sync back to LrD quite quickly.
I don't know what to suggest....maybe try to add the page again from the Portfolio>Pages panel?

There must be a way to get started if you have an empty site? It's been so long since I first setup my Portfolio site I can't remember how I got started, but there has to be a way. Any Portfolio experts around???

Oh you mean create a new site, add the albums to the new site, and then once they're there, delete them from the new site?

Whoops... bumped into a new problem.
Looks like these albums that won't disconnect - they no longer exist. (I merged those into bigger albums and deleted them.) So I can't add or remove them to anything. They only exist on this list that won't let me do anything. 😅
Which I guess means I could ignore them? But it is messy and annoying.
I'm going to see if I can import any of my completely edited galleries fresh now - try that plan I talked about earlier.

Yeah, I think you're going to need help from someone at Adobe to help clean up that list of now false albums in the Portfolio connection on LrD. I vaguely recall having something similar a few years back, but can't recall how we got it fixed.

...and bad news. Even after disconnecting the album from Lightroom, deleting the portfolio on the website and from my Lightroom connections, edits still not appearing.
I guess now, since I've gone this far, may as well just make all new albums and put the photos back in them. They are tagged, it may be a breeze.
Still would love Adobe to give me some clarity on this so I know how to avoid it happening again.

Yes, it sure sounds at though something somewhere is pretty messed up, and definitely need some help from Adobe I think. One other thing which you may have tried.....the album that is losing it's edits in Portfolio, have you tried sharing it via the web from LrD and then viewing it using the public link (i.e. not from within your own LrWeb portal), just to see if that also shows the unedited state. Again, just fishing for a clue as to where it's going wrong.

I see all the posts that didn't go through eventually did... that's embarrassing 😅 I swear they weren't before, not even on different devices!
