Possible to Sync some albums to cloud, but not others?

Looking over CC, which is nice and simple (maybe too simple for what I need), but wondering if there is a way to pick and choose which photos or albums get mirrored online?

Appears to be that everything gets sent to the cloud?

There is a "pause sync" button, but I assume it is a global control?

Thanks for any insight.

Lightroom CC IS for the cloud. If you import to Lightroom CC, it goes to the cloud. That is the whole idea of Lightroom CC. When you import images to Lightroom CC they are available on all mobile devices. Is that what you are looking for?

It isn't possible to selectively sync at the moment John.

Understand that availability of media across platforms is a major part of CC.

Just wanted to know if it was possible to limit cloud content, as this may provide more flexibility (at least for me) to CC.

I'm not interested in putting my entire catalog in the cloud, but it would be nice to be able to tick mark which folders / collections went there.

Desktop LR is a little cumbersome for me, but ultimately much more flexible, but I like the simplicity of CC for basic viewing and uploading.

Maybe a future update will allow selective uploading.

    Thank you.

Lightroom CC uses the cloud for storage as part of it's core. If you want to only store some images in the cloud, then look into LR Classic CC.
