(problem) LR automatically changing aspect ratio upon import

Hey all, Im having issues with Light Room (ver. 5.5 on Mac Os) automatically changing the aspect ratio of all my raw photos on import. Images are 16:9 and LR changes from "Original" to "As shot".

I do not have any lens correction or other such thing enabled nor have I changed/messed around recently with any of the preferences/settings of LR.
What's even more bizarre is that upon doing a "Paste Crop settings" to all photos (sticking strickly to applying this seperately to horizontal and vertical photoso, don't know if matters) but they change back! Some stay as Original after pasting, other I have to manually set the damn picture and it's quite annoying if batch resizing doesn't stay.
Please help out, is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
