Hi! I have a problem on Lightroom CC maybe for 25 days. (Check video below)
When i use masks tab, it is very easy to run into a bug whereby the mask used remains selected even if you leave the mask tab. For example, if I have used the brush tool, I can no longer use the linear gradient or some other type of mask, unless I put the mask to full screen by pressing F. Once I put it to full screen, I can use the selected mask.
There are some features, however, that still don't work when this bug occurs, such as AI generative remove, because once selected you have to click on ‘Confirm’ but the button is not pressed precisely because, according to Lightroom, there is a mask selected.
Have you also experienced this bug?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom and Creative Cloud, formatted Windows and reinstalled everything, but the problem persists.
I have a PC with:
-i7 14700k
-64gb ram 6600mhz
- 4080super

Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out.
Before proceeding, please go to Edit > Preferences >Account > press and hold the ALT key and select Diagnostic Log.
Then, please share this diagnostic log with me via direct message.
After this, reset Lightroom preferences by holding the Shift+OPT key while launching Lightroom: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/preferences.html
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Understood. I can't find a solution for this and i think it's awesome. I'm paying for a buggy software
