Question

Problems applying presets to all pictures?

Seems like such a simple feature but I am new to Lightroom and am having trouble. What I tried is first applying the preset to a photo, then clicking "copy edit settings", then selecting multiple images and clicking "paste edit settings". For some odd reason, what is pasted on the photos is an altered version of the preset. So the photo is different from when I paste the preset vs when I directly apply the preset. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Had no problems with Lightroom Classic and syncing. I would appreciate any help!

the paste edit settings (to all) only works in grid view for me, it does not work when selecting thumbs in detail view

Have you tried Cmd-Shift-V to paste to the thumbnails? (Assume you mean the filmstrip?)

Hi amberl,

We're really sorry for all the hassle. Could you please let us know the exact version of Lightroom you are using now? If you are using Lightroom Classic CC then, it should be updates to 7.4 version.

You can update the Lightroom via Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Mohit

It works in lightroom classic with the sync option but the copy and paste settings in  lightroom cc don't work.
