Problems uploading iPhone photos on Lightroom mobile

I am currently on a trip to Mexico and I do not have access to my computer. I have Lightroom on my iPad and have been using it for several years. This is how it has always worked. I take photos with my iPhone and when I open Lightroom on my iPad, it has automatically imported all photos from my photo stream. About a week ago it stopped doing this. The photos I take each day are in my photo stream but not in Lightroom. I tried to hit the import button but it tells me I have to get Lightroom access to my photos. I have looked everywhere to find a button to perform this function. I don't seem to have a Settings tab in Lightroom to do this. When I look in the settings on my iPad,  there are buttons which allow Lightroom to access Siri, notifications and backtoom app refresh.  I am very frustrated and I am not able to process my photos at all.
