Hi Lightroomers,
I have been using the 'store a copy of all originals at specified location' feature on laptop and it works great. When I import RAWs from my SD card, LR also adds a copy to my external SSD drive and manages the folder structure. When I delete an image permanently from LR, it also deletes it from the local location as well. Fantastic!
My question: What happens if I import from an iPad while travelling? Does LR automatically store a copy on the external drive when I am next at my computer with the drive plugged in?
Thanks!
The 'Copy of All Originals' is just a mirror of what is in the Cloud (and it's main purpose is for faster access to photos when using Lightroom Desktop or access when you have no network connection) .
Anything within Lightroom Mobile, once synecd to the Cloud, should replicate and also appear in the Originals location.

Thanks. I just did a test to see via import on an Android phone and it did exactly as described. The 'store a copy of all originals at specified location' just mirrors what is in the cloud, regardless of upload/import location. So great!
