RAW file Adobe portfolio

Hello, I am using Adobe Portfiolo with Lightroom and my workflow is that I drag the raw file for my portfolio into an album and synchronise them in Portolio. Is this the rigth way to do it or is it better to export the raw file to jpg en place this file in the album in Lightroom. Thanks for Your answers.

It's fine. The sync creates a jpeg anyway. Portfolio won't contain the raw file.
