Recent edits folder is jammed with edits i can't remove

All the edits l have made are in the "Recent Edits" folder and l can't remove them. Also Lightroom keeps rearrainging my photos after an edit..... Help

Could you elaborate a bit more on your issue? Which version of Lightroom are you using? How is Lightroom rearranging the photos, and what order do you expect them to be in? If you could share screenshots or a short video, that would be really helpful too.

Ver. 8.1 and Lightroom puts the latest edit in the front on the folder automaticaly. As soon as l "finish" an edit it is moved from where it is in the order of photos to number one position. Say l am editing a photo and want a duplicate. I make the duplicate, do my edits and as soon as l stop editing it is moved! Just the copy and not the original! So if l want to compare the two photos l must go to the front of the folder to see the edits and jump back to the original to compare. Even if l don't want to compare it is a pain in the @#$%^ to have to go to the front in the folder to see changes. There is no sort icon in the edit section as there are in all others. Different choices for how to sort, but not in Edit. Very frustrating......

Add the images to another album, so the images do not get sorted by edit time but by something you can decide.

That's a work around but l think defeats the purpose of the "Recent Edits" album....... Thks for the reply
