Hi everone:

I have been using LRC for quite a while, but only recently re-installed Lightroom (Cloud) again.

In my copy of LR (Cloud) I can see about 2 dozen photos, but in my current LRC catalog I have sync turned off.

Can I find out from within LR (Cloud) where those photos are syncing from?

I have more then one LR Catalog, but havent used many of them for several years, and those older catalogs may need upgrading.

Like I've said above, my current master Catalog has syncing turned off.

Thanhs

They might have originated from Lr Mobile on your phone or tablet. With only 2 dozen images to check, you can look at the info panel for each image which will tell you which camera took the picture, and when it was taken. There should be enough clues there to figure out the origin.

Also. if you click on All Photos in the Lightroom Desktop app, then click on the Filter Bar icon at the end of teh Search Bar, select the Sync Status option and that should reveal if the images are "Synced and Backed Up" (which would mean these are originals uploaded from one of the Lightroom app) or "Synced from Lightroom Classic" which would mean they are Smart Previews synced up from a (previous) Lightroom Classic catalog.

Thanks Jim

I solved this in the end by choosing to start Sync from the Cloud icon in the top right of LRC in my master catalog, and was presented with a file name of the 'last-syncd' catalog, which I had been looking for of course.

Once i loaded that into LRC, everything came rushing back from the past!!

Sorted!
