Question

Remove moire

I just installed Lightroom (as I am not a regular user of Lightroom, I use Photoshop). The reason for that is that there should be an option to remove moire very easily within Lightroom which I have used a couple of times in the past.

But, I can't find the option to remove moire anymore? I thought it was under "Effects' but it isn't there anymore. At least, not in my Lightroom it isn't (version 5.4 build 20220607-0605-ab0fd72, Dutch language).

Can anyone help me find the moire removal brush?

Lightroom-Desktop v7.1.2 (Cloud version). The Moire slider only appears in the Masking [Detail] panel when you have a mask active for a 'local'  adjustment.  eg. Brush over an area to adjust  moire.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

I think it should still be there, but if it isn't then that is no big deal. The options under Effects are just presets. If you do not have a preset, then just set the slider yourself. Moire removal is a slider under 'Optics' in the brush on my iPad. Because I type this on the iPad, I cannot check this but I assume it's in the same place in Lightroom desktop.

I'm confused what you mean by 'the brush on my iPad'. There's no moire removal option under any of the sections in Lightroom, either on the iPad or desktop. At least, I can't find it any more. Maybe you're using an old version?

I'm talking about it being only in the masks (under Detail).
