Renaming with Lightroom Mobile

How can you rename using LR Mobile on phone or tablet?

I do not want to export and give a new name as that creates a duplicate file on the device.

I am in a remote location with no access to Lightroom Classic.

Renaming in Lightroom is not supported. There's probably an existing feature request for that functionality, you could add your vote to that.

I used to be able to export from Lightroom mobile with a new name because I used to enter them in Competitions. Now it does not offer the option. 
Definitely rename didn't Lightroom classic

Really frustrating as I haven't used it in a while, and I cannot submit without renaming it- yet can't  rename it,  so I guess I have wasted all my editing time as I don't have access to a computer right now.

LrMobile still allows you to export with a custom file name, using either "Save Copy to Device" (tap the gear icon to make the settings changes that you want), or using the "Export As" option which allows you to make your settings changes each time it's used.
