Round trip to Photoshop and back

I just watched a video from Adobe describing how to open an image in PS from LR, make an edit and save back to LR. I replicated the steps and the image is not going back to LR. Canon Raw image, "Edit in PS", make the edits and "Save". This does not result in the .tif file showing up in LR either alone or stacked with the original.

My system:
MacOS 12.6 on M1 Mini

LR Version 5.5

PS version 23.5.1

Everything is up to date. Am I missing a step?

Many thanks in advance.

"Save" doesn't return the Tif to Lightroom, you must close the image in PS (the instructions do tell you that). Only when the image is closed will the Tif be returned to Lightroom.
