Hi community,
I am trying to find out if there is any way to selectively sync from Lightroom Mobile and vice versa?
Due to how my company handles cloud services I mainly use Lightroom classic. For social media content we are allowed to use cloud services.
Therefore i have a lot of content on my Phone and the odd Album we would like to share with both other creators and within the company. Now i would like to avoid a full sync of all folders and would like to selevt individual folders to have in the cloud and others that i do not.
Is it somehow possible to select individual folders within lightroom mobile to sync or do I have to sync the entire library? And then the same in the other direction so i could, for example, create a Social Media Album per Brand that i would then readily have on my phone without having to upload all the images from my phone first.

Lightroom Mobile will not automatically upload images to Lightroom Cloud storage. It is possible to enable automatic import, but this is Off by default, I believe. You can check your settings in Lightroom Mobile Settings > Import. Make sure the toggles are off, like this:
What I think you might be seeing is that your camera roll photos are displayed in Lightroom's Device tab. The Device tab shows the images on your device camera roll, same as the iOS Photos app. This does not

Hello @chrisgamble
Apologies for the delay. Lightroom Mobile can not selectively upload, the way that LR Classic can. All images and album created in Lightroom Mobile do sync to cloud storage, whereas LR Classic syncs only collections/albums you specify.
Another option that may serve you is to enable album sharing in LR Mobile, or the cloud centric Lightroom desktop app. Some web articles may refer to this as Group Albums. Anyway, as the owner of an album, you can invite other users to your album and grant specific levels of access: can view only, or view + contribute new photos, or view + contribute + also edit. People you invite can use free edit features available in LR Mobile, or otherwise need to subscribe to premium service to use LR Desktop + Mobile premium features for all edits features. I usually work with Lightroom Classic, and sometimes with my smartphone.
Recently, I found out that working on my lightroom app(on my smartphone) automatically uploads to the web lightroom cloud.
I can't choose whether to upload it or not.
The cloud storage capacity is limited, so it would be nice if a user could selectively upload only the photos they need. I think it will take unnecessary time to delete it manually to secure the capacity.

The Device tab is where you browse iOS Camera Roll/Photos images, and choose what you want to edit or import. Editing an image will also import it into Lightroom.
Any images that Lightroom did import will have this 'Lr' badge on the image, in the Device tab:
