Slow Denoise

I have 32gb RAM & 1 TB memory...and a 4800HQ CPU in my laptop yet Denoise is taking 20mins+ per photo is there anything I can do to improve this??

    Denoise performance depends on the GPU, not the CPU.  Unfortunately, you haven't mentioned which GPU is is installed in computer, but 20 minutes would suggest that it's not particulary powerful.

     

    If you paste a copy of the 'System Info' into a post we will be better placed to offer more advice. You can obtain this info from the Lightroom Help > System Info menu item

    Have you updated your gpu driver? A quick check of the nvidia site shows your driver is out of date.
