Just updated to the 2020 version of lightroom and it broke my whole catalog and ability to even use the program. My files are not corrupted and or damaged in any way and were not as recent as an hour before the update. I have tried to rebuild part of my catalog as a test and create a new one to no avail. I need help from adobe to fix this situation as now my workload is at zero.

I first went into my creative cloud which looks like this

In the upper righthand corner, I selected the three dots ...

I then selected to install a previous version that had worked for me. After re-installing it, I went back and  uninstalled the newest version.

Lastly, I went to adobes link for camera raw https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html downloaded and installed Camera Raw Version 11.4.1 which ultimately fixed my problem.

Hello,

I’m not sure unless there is an old installer somewhere. I don’t know how long, or if it’s an option to save the previous versions instead of deletion upon new installs. That might be the reason some of us still have multiple.
