Subscription not activating despite purchasing

I had bought the 20 GB plan earlier this day and waited about 4 hours for it to update due to lightroom saying I need to purchase a subscription, which creative cloud says I own the subscription (I checked it was the same account and money had been taken from my wallet). I cancelled the 20gb subscription after those 4 hours and bought the 1TB subscription to be met with the same issue (I still haven't recieved a refund for the previous subscription at this point). Is there something I'm missing?
