I just got a new MacBook and I have signed into my Apple account and downloaded Lightroom. When I go to restore my subscription on the Lightroom desktop app it says that I do not have one, although I was just using it on my previous laptop and on my phone it says I have an active subscription still.

Don't you get an AdobeID when you use the app from the Apple Store? I believe you simply have to log in with the same Adobe ID. That is how it works when you purchase your subscription directly from Adobe.
