On a Mac with Lightroom-Desktop (and an Adobe subscription) you should be able to-

2023-04-06 11_40_45-Lightroom.jpg2023-04-06 11_41_34-Lightroom.jpg

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.4, Photoshop 25.11, ACR 16.4, Lightroom 7.4.1, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.1.2, Windows-11.

Thank you kindly for your help.  I should have elaborated in my question.  I need to do multiple photos at a time.  In Lightroom classic you can filter out a specific camera (as in Lightroom cloud) and then apply the change to the one photo you edit time as you select multiple photos to sync chronology to it.  Generally using a time when both camera captured the same moment in time (i.e first kiss).  When I do this with the cloud version, it does not sync the other photos correctly.

"change to the one photo you edit time as you select multiple photos to sync chronology to it."

So reverse the order- Select multiple photos in Grid view FIRST, then do [PHOTO: Edit Date & Time...]

It works in my Lightroom-Desktop for multiple selected images.

Can you give more details of "does not sync the other photos correctly. "?

The 'How to' is in my first answer above, but syncing two cameras requires a little pre-thought.

1) Find an image in Camera A- Note its exact Time and Date.

2) Find an image in Camera B taken at the same moment as Camera A- Note its exact Time and Date.

3) Calculate the difference in time. (eg. + or - 10 minutes)

4) Now Select all the photos from Camera B that you want to adjust 'time' to match Camera A.

Now [Edit Date and Time]:

5) Select only the time component you want changed. (eg. select the Minutes and alter by the time difference calculated in Step 3.)

6) Type in the new amount, (which might require changing both Hours and Minutes) and [Change]

An Example-

Change a time taken at 1.44pm-

2024-05-18 08_44_52-InfoPanelCaptureDate.jpg

to a time 1.55pm-

2024-05-18 08_45_06-InfoPanelCaptureDate.jpg

This will 'add' 10 minutes to the existing 'time taken' of ALL the selected photos, thus matching Camera A to Camera B.

(Note: It does not change all the selected photos to the exact identical same time.)

Thanks for your reply

my two cameras were used at the same shoot, so the times are correct already, (both cameras had same time) when I load the images they do not 'sort' together.

And are you sorting by 'Capture Date'?

2024-05-18 18_23_18-Lightroom.jpg
