Syncing between devices

I've been trying to use Lr more and more BUT it just doesn't meet my needs. And I'm not even a pro. Use Edit w/ Ps on my desktop. The edit replaces the original on desktop but not on iOS devices. Not talking about an instant replacement but over days with charging etc. Not worth the costs!

What versions of Lightroom and Photoshop are you using? Would you mind sharing your workflow? How are you saving it? Are you looking to replace the synced original files in your iOS with the edited files in Lightroom mobile?
