Synking from CC to Classic

In my Classic I have a structure when I import direct from a camera.

Ex:

- 2018

-2018-09-20

-2018-09-21

-2018-09-22

and so on...

When syncing from CC I get a folder into Classic named for example 2018-09-21. BUT it does not go in under the main folder ”2018”

It comes in outside this main folder, and I have to manually drag it in...

Is there a way to get this right from the beginning?

You can select a folder/drive in LR Classic preferences, combined with dated sub folders.

On Windows go to: Edit >> Preferences >> Lightroom sync (tab)

Mac OS

Lightroom >> Preferences >> Lightroom sync (tab)
