Tethering to Lightroom

i just buy Lightroom version 5.0, i cannot see the tethering settings if i connect my dslr camera, can someone help me?

The Lightroom desktop app does not support tethering. Only Lightroom Classic has that feature, and even that is restricted to certain cameras, mainly Nikon and Canon.

You've probably bought the wrong Lightroom (thanks to Adobe's confusing product names) as you've got the cloud-dependent version. If tethering is important to you, it's best to contact Adobe customer care and ask for the subscription to be switched to Classic Lightroom.
