Transfer images from LR CC on iPad to LR Classic on iMac

When traveling I store and process images using LR CC on my new iPad Pro and would like to transfer these images to LR Classic on my iMac at home. I would like to be able to do so without subscribing to additional CC storage.

Why not just sync automatically, by enabling sync in Classic? One pictures download into Classic, your CC space may be full, so go to All Synced Photos, remove some photos from there and that will free up space for the next few images. Repeat until all are in Classic.

Removing them from ASP will also remove them from the synced collection, so maybe add them to the Quick Collection before removing them from ASP, just in case you want to sync them again as smart previews.

That may work but it seems to be a relatively cumbersome procedure for something that should be straight forward. I can transfer images easily from LR CC on iPad to my iMac using AirDrop but they transfer as jpg and not raw files. There doesn't seem to be an option selection to retain raw images.

Sure it's cumbersome, but it'll work. The elegant solution involves paying for more storage
