Question

Unable to save photos, export as jpeg

While editing NEF files with few selective adjustments (in this case three) and exporting it as jpeg (largest available size & 100%) the message is Rendering-This may take a while but the export never gets complicated, only cancel works. The same tried with reducing the size to 2mp and 75% compression exports the file. The largest available size jpeg option was working earlier in the same iPad Air.

My guess is that you have some amount of Lens Blur applied.  There is a known performance issue for exporting images with lens blur applied.  LR engineers are working on a solution.

I have been using only NEF files. Surprisingly not all NEF files have this problem. Looks like it's isolated to few files. Will check few more files later today and update.

Is it happening with all image file-types, or only certain files?

Yes, I have tried them both, the problem remains.

Thanks. It was just a thought...

Have you tried ejecting the LrM app and restarting? And if there's still no change, you could try rebooting the iPad to see if that makes a dfifference.

I tried after charging the iPad Air to 100% still the same condition, just the rendering message and only cancel works.

I'm not seeing anything similar on my iPad Pro. Have you tried charging the battery on your iPad to >20% (just wondering if the Lower Power Mode that you are in is affecting the LrM performance)?
