Unable to view of delete files from Creative Cloud Storage

Greetings, I have the base 20gb included storage on my creative cloud account which was active prior to the discontinuation of the desktop sync app. I know the files that were there have been deleted and are gone forever but the problem is the available space isn't freed up. When I view the details for storage usage on the web interface or lightroom mobile it shows 6.8gb used of 20. Is there a way to reset this somehow? Maybe it's a glitch, but uploading 20gb takes awhile and I thought I'd ask first.

To see all the files in your Adobe account cloud storage, you can visit https://www.adobe.com/files and log in if necessary. This will show you all the files and assets EXCEPT for your Lightroom photos and previews. To see what's in the Lightroom library, you'll need to visit http://lightroom.adobe.com and you'll see what's stored there.
