Since the release of Lightroom version 8.0 and later version 8.4, I have been having problems updating the AI settings for my photos when I apply it to a large volume of photos.
It tends to freeze/stop when it reaches a certain number. I didn't have this problem in previous versions, although it's true that in those versions, once the process was complete, I got a warning that I had to update again. I understand that this error has been fixed in the new versions.
If you could guide me and help me solve the “compatibility” problem between the new version of Lightroom (8.4) and the AI settings, I would really appreciate it.

Hi @Guillermo_Rivera9612, thanks for sharing your System Info!
It looks like your graphics drivers haven’t been updated in a little while. When you get a chance, could you head over to NVIDIA’s website and check for any updates for your GeForce RTX 4060?
If possible, try downloading the Studio drivers, they tend to be more stable for Adobe apps compared to the Game Ready ones.
Thanks again!

Hello again @Aleke thank you for your help and advice.
I have updated my graphics drivers to the latest version, released on August 12 this year, but I still have the same problem.
The current version is Studio, as you recommended, instead of Games Ready.
It gets to the point shown in the photo and then stops. It doesn't go any further. I've been waiting for several hours, but it doesn't progress (i.e., it freezes on that image) because the settings are pasted correctly, but the next step, which is updating the AI settings, is not.

I found that this is only happening if I am updating lets say 200+ photos in batch. I select less photos, it doesnt happen. I am just updating a small batch at a time as a workaround but its not very convenient

Hi @Guillermo_Rivera9612 and @gurkirats22857051, thanks for the additional details.
So we can dig deeper, can you let me know what type of AI edits are you applying to the photos?
Thanks!

Hi @Guillermo_Rivera9612 and @gurkirats22857051
Quick question, does the batch AI update always stop at a specific photo, or maybe after a certain number of photos?
@gurkirats22857051, if you could share your System Info just like Guillermo did, that would be super helpful. You can find it in Lightroom by going to Help > System Info. Just copy it into a text file and attach it here, or feel free to share it through Google Drive, WeTransfer, or any file-sharing service you prefer.
Thanks again!

With the arrival of version 8.4 in June and subsequent updates, at first it wasn't a specific photo
Later, if the computer went into sleep mode, it did. No matter what I did, it didn't work, it stayed on that photo, and when, miraculously, after trying everything, activating/deactivating settings, restarting the computer... I managed to get it to move forward and not stop on that photo, the times it took to update the photos were ridiculous, and as soon as you left the app in the background, they increased even more, without ever being able to complete all the photos.
I understand that you're asking me about the photo because it may be a corrupt file that isn't working properly. I tried deleting and reimporting all the photos I took when I first noticed the problem, and I also tried it on other older photos, but the problem persisted. There were even times when copying and pasting settings or the automatic settings option itself also got stuck.

Hi @Guillermo_Rivera9612! Just to make sure I’m understanding right, does the freezing only happen when your computer goes into sleep mode?
Thanks so much!

No.
The freezing error when configuring the AI settings does not only occur when the computer goes into sleep mode, nor does it always remain a still image, because I have tried doing it with fewer photos, with photos that I already had before the update.
The problem has persisted since the end of June, and no matter what I try (restarting the app, restarting the computer, uninstalling the app, changing performance settings, clearing the cache...), nothing works.
To clarify, the mobile version works correctly.
