Uploading raw files to an album

LR has blocked me from uploading a set of pictures to an album. I receive the message that the "images have already been added to LR". I need to place these photos into an album to begin editing.

You can only 'Add / Import / upload ' image files to the Lightroom 'Cloud' once.

They will appear in the 'All Photos' list, or you then add selected images to an Album for easier access.

But you can edit a photo either from the 'All Photos' list, or an 'Album' list.

Thank you Rob!

I edited my photos that were blocked from filing in a specific album by looking in all photos and selecting a group of recently added photos. Once selected photos were edited I was able to export jpeg copies to a folder on my hard drive. You proposed excellent solution. Thanks so much for your help.

I think you have posted in the wrong forum. This is the Lightroom Classic forum, but you are not using Lightroom Classic which does not have albums, you are using Lightroom. Please post in the Lightroom (Ecosystem) forum.
