Video one-way sync only?

I sync my videos from LR CC to Classic. Changes made in CC, like title and caption, show up in Classic after a few seconds. But changes made in Classic, never sync back to CC.

What's the logic in this?

CC and Classic are not intended to work together. They offer two different workflows for two different types of users.

CC for people who need to sync to different devices (but has less tools) and Classic who mainly work from one computer and needs more tools.

OK, thanks! I was hoping I could use LR Classic for some things that CC can not yet, like manual geotagging and selecting poster frames (most of my videos show up as black thumbnails in CC). Then I could sync these metadata back to CC.

But I hope that CC will get these features too in a future update.

It's a bit of a mess. LRCC lacks many features or has features that are much weaker than LrClassic, and Adobe has failed to make LrClassic sync as well as it should do. Some types of files sync, others don't - ie video. Some metadata syncs to / from LrClassic, other metadata doesn't. All you can do is figure out what Adobe have failed to sync properly. Titles and captions do sync fully, ratings and flags too, yet the four IPTC location fields don't - yet GPS data does (at least for stills, not sure for video), and lots of important metadata such as colour labels doesn't even exist in LrCC. Selecting poster frames does work in LrClassic, but collection sets don't. Have fun figuring this out!
