viewing photo date

I can no longer see the photo date when I go into View Options > Show/Hide Info

Anyone know how to get that info. to show?

It depends on the viewing mode. If you are in Grid mode, then the two-finger tap as per the post from @selondon will cycle through various Info Overlays, one of which will be "Show Photo Info" - which includes the capture date.

However, when in the single image Edit or Rate & Review modes, the two finger-tap cyles between 3 different info display modes: Off, Histogram, Photo Info. When selected via that two-finger tap, the "Photo Info" display will show 1 of 5 different sets of information, to cycle through those 5 displays is then a single-finger tap.

I see the double tap leads to the "off, histogram and photo info" but the date is no longer on the photo info

yes, i have the phone up in review or in edit mode and whenb i two finger tap it scrolls from info, to histogram to off. the info shown is (as an example):

32 of 356 | smart preview

1/250 sec at f/2.8, ISO 3200

135mm (EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM)

Yes, but once you have that info display showing, you then need to single finger tap on the info overlay and it will cycle through 4 or 5 different versions of the info overlay, some of which will contain the date.
