I don't need a Cloud. Especially I don't need a cloud that synchroniszes automaticly (Lightroom).
I am working partly in the internet, but I can't do so, if my bloody Lightroom App synchronises automaticly. Is there somewhere a bloody button to turn this off?
in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

If you don't need the cloud, do not use the cloud based lightroom but use Lightroom Classic. The cloud based Lightroom relies on cloud backend storage to operate. You can temporarily pause cloud syncing by clicking the cloud button if you wish but that is not a long term solution. Instead use the real Lightroom that is based around a local catalog and storage called Lightroom Classic. If you are on a mobile device however such as iOS or Android, you have no choice and the app is built around cloud backend storage. No way around it except for pausing the sync. Do be aware that you can easily lose all your images and adjustments if you never sync your device to the cloud.
thanks I appreciate it.
I have backoffs and jsut too many files to sync just everything...
Yeah, I use Lightroom classic. Didn't realize when checking out the program on my phone and iPad just to see what it was like that was gonna automatically sync everything I ever took to the cloud it's a mess. It's a horrible system. You should be worn before you open it and you should be default. Not uploading. It's very very shady.
