Question

Zoom out to see small image preview

Hey,

I would like to ask if there is a way how to view a zoomed out version of an image. Let's say 25%.

In Lightroom classic I use Navigator or a 12-25% zoomed out view to help me quickly sort out my images, especially when I have a few that are quite similar.

I can't seem to find a way to do it on Lightroom CC on any platforms, mobile, ipad or mac.

How do you guys approach this?

Hello @Augustini.photo,

From what I understood you'd like to resize the size of thumbnails in the grid view? On Mac, you could adjust the size slider on the bottom right, and in Lr mobile use the two finger gesture on top of the thumbnail grid to "stretch" or "shrink" the size of the thumbnails.

Best regards,

Elmira

Actually not in a grid view. I would like to see a single photo zoomed out to to let's say 12-25%.

In LR Classic you can just simply zoom out but in CC it seems like I can only fit or zoom in.

I found that I can zoom out in CC only when using healing tool (attached). Is there another way to do it?

Thank you, @Augustini.photo, for posting the screen shot. Yes, you could zoom out a photo withing Healing and also Masking tool. I can't think of any other places where you could do that in Lr mobile. In LrD, you could zoom out in a single photo view using two finger gesture. I'm curious what would be the use case for that in a single image view where viewing the full size photo or zoomed in would allow for better photo comparison, esp. similar photos?

Thank you,

Elmira
