P: Ability to turn off panorama mode for web sharing

My appologies if this is answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it.

I have several panoramas that were taken with my Android phone using the panorama mode.  I have edited them in Lightroom and they are saved along with non-panoramas in an album. When I share the album with others, the panorama is displayed in a panorama viewer, screen shot attached  How can I turn off the panorama viewer?  I just want them to see the flat rectangular image, as it appears to me in lightroom.  I cannot find what metadata lightroom is using to decide to display it this way and turn it off.

Help is much appreciated!  Thank you.

Greetings all,

A new update for the Adobe Photography products has been released.  The June update contains an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Apologies for the long delay in replying.  The DNG file type cannot be added as a photo in this chat tool.  Is there a secure way to share the 68 MB DNG?  I don't really want an image Raw file available to everyone who can read this chat... I do sell my landscape images.

Hi Peter, the versions used to create the DNG pano and subsequent denoise are as listed in my original post.

Sorry, I should add that it would help to talk about the Lr app and version used to create this, along with settings, in case they are relevant.

Please share the photo in question here so we can repro.  Also, please let us know if you see this issue with all panoramas or only in certain cases.

Thanks,

Peter

I've created a panorama image, then applied the AI noise reduction.

Interestingly the resulting DNG file is perfectly ok when viewed in LrC, Bridge and Lr desktop with LOCAL files.  Viewing the synchronised file in Lr desktop CLOUD view or Lr MOBILE on my tablet shows that the panorama merge is broken.

Clearly an issue in how the panorama is being syncronised to the cloud.  Screen grabs attached showing the image in each of the applications - viewed as a local file and viewed as a cloud object.

I'm up to date with all versions -

LrC  v14.2

Lr desktop v8.2

Bridge v15.0.3

Lr Mobile, Android v10.2.1

Thanks for bringing this up. It is currently designed for Lightroom Web to show Panoramic images as you experienced.

Moving this to ideas for now. Please add your upvotes from the top.
