Updated firmware for Nikon D7200 to C 1.04 and L 2.017, but now Lightroom Classic CC 7.4 release won't import RAW images.  Lightroom is up-to-date.  Suggestions?

There has to be something else involved, seems to me. I have the D7100 and applied the recent firmware updates to it. I have had no problems importing raw images. Are you using Nikon Transfer to download your images by any chance?

No.  Upload straight from SD card.  the classic desktop version of LR not recognizing the RAW NEF.  So, I updated all my Adobe Apps (even though the version I tried to upload to said it was up-to-date) that I have and the 2015 version of LR is reading the SD card.  This is not the version I have been using.

What version of Lightroom have you been using? Can you confirm definitely what version is installed on your computer? Can you share via dropbox or similar one of the NEF files that you cannot import?
