Question

Grid views and filmstrip not showing photos

Have installed Lightroom CC on my Windows 10 laptop. Neither the grid views or filmstrip show content. If I click on a link on the left to work on any subset of photos or all photos, a single photo appears, but the screen does not update if a grid view is chosen. If the filmstrip is opened, it just shows a portion of the displayed photo. If you click on the filmstrip it will open a new photo, though there's no way to know which one.

The laptop is a Samsung Chronos 700 series from 2011 with 8GB RAM and a Radeon 7400M graphics adapter with 512MB RAM. The original 1TB HDD has been swapped out for a 256GB SSD.

    Hi davidt92102594,

Sorry that Grid and the Filmstrip views are not showing your images. Could you please help us with a screenshot of the Lightroom CC window illustrating the issue?

Also, have you tried signing out of Lightroom CC from the Help>> Sign out menu?

    Regards,

    Akash

    Hi Akash,

Here's a screen shot showing the film strip issue. I can click on it and

random photos are displayed, but there's obviously no way to know which

one. I can advance through photos by using Edit|Next Photo as well. The

editing tools work normally at least.

Also note that selecting the photo grid view does not update the screen:

After signing out and back in, I get this:

If I click on a list item on the left, I can get a single picture in Detail

view, but the Grid and Square views still don't work, nor does the Film

    Strip.

    Best Regards,

    David Terrie
