Correct answer posidron

…I also just reproduced it on a different Mac (of a different model; same CC account, same software and OS versions).

Are you by any chance using 'mackup' for backing up/syncing config files to a cloud provider? Today I found out that mackup was  backing up "Lightoom" and "CameraRaw" folders.

$HOME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ had a "Lightroom" and "CameraRaw" symlink to on my cloud storage created by 'mackup'.

I deleted those two folders at the cloud storage and removed the two symlinks.

It worked.

Hi posidron,

We really apologize for all the hassle. Could you please let us know on what step exactly Lightroom CC is crashing? If its crashing while accessing the presets then, please refer the available workaround for now: Lightroom CC 1.4 crashes while opening the Presets panel

Regards,

Mohit

I tried to clean-up and re-install everything. I thought first it helped cause you were guided through the usability instructions and once that was done, it was also possible to see the picture overview but as soon as you opened a picture and slide out the edit tools it crashed. On the next restart it instantly crashes.

Thanks for the update. Please sign out from the Creative Cloud desktop app and launch Lightroom CC. It will ask for your Adobe id and password. Follow the instruction and let us if Lightroom CC stays up without closing down.

Regards,

Mohit
