Trying batch HDR PhotoMerge stacks in Lightroom error "Unable to Merge"

Hi all! I am trying to HDR photo merge multiple stacks of photos, but when I do so, lightroom tries to combine each of the stacks together, and results in a "unable to merge" error message.

I've watched multiple tutorials online where people are using Ctrl+H when they have multple stacks selected, and Lightroom automatically creates MULTIPLE photo merge tasks... Lightroom is not doing this for me, but rather combines all stacks into a single Photo merge task, which fails.

Can anybody straighten me out here? I can't continue spending loads of time selecting each 3-photo batch and excecuting the photo-merge task one by one... it takes ages.

Thanks so much all!!!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the unable to merge error in Lightroom, could you please let us know the version of Lightroom and Operating system you're using?

You may check this conversation and let us know if it helps: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/error-hdr-unable-to-merge-the-photos/td-p/9246852

You are reacting to a four years old thread. Seems there never was an answer from the OP about what version of Lightroom he uses. You do not say that either, but that kind of info is crucial. Lightroom Classic can merge to HDR in batch, using stacks. I do not think that Lightroom (cloud) can do that as well, so that may explain your problem.
