[VSCO] Presets Fail to Import

Explorer ,
Jun 30, 2018 Jun 30, 2018
  1. I started from scratch and deleted all the VSCO presets from LR CC.
  2. Downloaded and installed presets via installer from VSCO.
  3. 90% of the presets imported.
  4. Presets in the Film Toolkit & Film Toolkit - Color failed to import.
    1. The presets that didn't import lacked the (~) in front of the file name.
    2. I was manually able to import the missing presets with the exception of:
      1. Film Toolkit
        1. Grain Bigger
        2. Grain Bigger +
      2. LR CC reports on screen that the presets were imported, but they do not show up under User Presets
      3. I had to manually right-click and move the presets to the intended parent folder; what a pain in the a**.
  5. Problem presets can be reviews at: My Files
  6. I am using Lightroom Creative Cloud for Mac version 1.4
1.6K

I haven't contacted VSCO. I'll check to see if the issue has resolved itself when I get around to it.

Hi SPJ,

We're really sorry for all the hassle. We have tried installing Grain Bigger & Grain Bigger + presets in Lightroom CC and after the import, it's highlighting the Grain prests which is already there and a default preset in Lightroom CC.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of these plugins and check what they have to say about this issue?

I am using Lightroom CC 1.4 on Windows 10 machine.

Regards,

Mohit
