    Hi Amit,

Thank you for your reply. But I still cannot find the information in the log files.

Flash meda server 3.5 has three versions: flash media Streaming server, flash media Interactive server and Development server. I would like to confirm which version above is installed on my computer. Is there a way to check for it?

Open "Flash Media Administration Console" from start->All Programs->Adobe->Flash Media Server... and then login using your credentials which you had given at the time of installation. After login click on "Manage Servers" then click on "License" you will be able to see which version and which edition of FMS is installed.

By the way Flash Media Streaming server, Flash Media Interactive server and Flash Media Development server are editions and not versions.

    Regards,

    Amit

You can check FMS version by opening any of the log files in "<FMS Root directory>\logs".

    For example :

When I open "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\logs\access.00.log" I got these lines in this file so in this #Software tells you which FMS is installed.

    #Version: 1.0

    #Start-Date: 2010-03-03 17:21:56

    #Software: Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5.3 r824

    Regards,

    Amit
