PLEASE roll back and fix the way mixamo rigs hand bones. Over the past few months it has become utterly useless. Instead of creating a skeleton with 5 fingers on it hand, it creates hands with only 2 or 3 sets of fingers for bones, making the output totally useless. If you just put it back to the way it was so it ALWAYS creates the 5 sets of fingers on each hand, it would work perfectly fine and I could fix any issues on my own end.
As it stands, mixamo.com has become totally useless now. It will not produce anything usable.

the number of fingers is set at import stage and is working at my end

Add a proper bug posting link in the blender addon, perhaps a repo or something where people do answer which is not a community.
