P: 25.1 Crash Issues - MacOS

Hello,

I updated PS Beta yesterday and it now crashes every time I open it. I have unstilled and reinstalled the app (using the Creative Suite app), but it makes no difference.

I am working on OSX, 13.5.1 Mac Studio M1 Ultra, 64 Gb Ram.

I'll include the top of the error report. Let me know if you need more.

for the moment I have switched back to 24.7.0. That works. However, I now have to endure the extremely long time it takes to open a RAW image from Lightroom again.

You attention would be appreciated!

I'm on 25.3.0, and it seems stable.

Hi all, curious if you are still seeing issues as the OP stated, using the latest Ps Beta, Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.3.0 20231127.m.2415 28b0a5c arm64

And, if you use the latest Ps release, do you also have the same issue? Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.2.0 20231121.r.196 12a6c2a arm64

Unchecked open with Rosetta fixed it in Get Info.

Everytime I try to use mask in CR in Photoshop 25.1 it crashes.

I'm running an M1 Max in my 16" MacBook Pro, OS 13.6 and Photoshop Beta 25.1.  It crashes every time I start it, whether or not "Open Using Rosetta" is checked in the info tab.

Hey Cathy,

Since I am following the malfunction messages, I am still not updating to 25.1. anymore. Even on 25.0. generative fill is not working properly, but I have my ways around it. So in the moment I am still waiting for positive reports on 25.1. before I update PS Beta.

@Sammy Hart is this still an issue for you? If so can we connect to gather more info from you? Thanks so much,

Caity

Try turning off "Open using Rosetta" - then open PS, use for a few mins, then quit. Then turn on "Open Using Rosetta" again. Worked for me and I can still use my old plugins, which I have no intention of paying huge upgrade fees for!

Running PS 25.1 beta on an M1 Macbook Pro and os Sonoma 14.0 beta.

@Caity.psd Yes, unchecking "Open using Rosetta" solved the issue for me. But now, I'm unable to use any of my 3rd party plugins!
