Hi all,

If your account is part of an EDU or Enterprise account, this message is likely because the IT Admin has not yet enabled access for this feature. Please work with your admin to enable access at the account level.

It should be located in: Admin Console under Settings> Asset Settings > Non-Adobe Generative AI Models > Toggle the switch on/off

It looks like you might have an enterprise version. Did you contact your administrator as the error suggested to enable access?

Are you getting an error? Has your administrator enabled access?

I'm not 100%% sure but I get this error when running Nano Banana or Flux. I saw other folks online getting the same issue in EDU accounts. Is this something I need to reach out to my school's admins about?

When I try to use Nano Bana, I have this issue: "Your system administrator isn't allowing access to this feature right now. Please contact them for more information." After updating Photoshop Beta about three times this week.

Any thoughts? or Solutions?

Cheers

Hello,

While trying to use the Gemini (Nano Banana Generative) plugin in Adobe Photoshop, I encountered the following error message:

“Your system administrator isn’t allowing access to this feature right now. Please contact them for more information.”

Because of this error, I am unable to access the plugin.

  • I am using the latest version of Photoshop.

  • My account is active and licensed through Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • The issue only occurs with the Gemini Nano Banana Generative feature.

Could you please provide more information about the cause of this issue? If an additional module, license, or authorization is required, I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve it.

Thank you.

This menas that your account is part of an enterprise or educational license. Your administrator will need to activate the features from the admin console to allow you to use the features. They can be found in the Settings>Asset Settings>Non-Adobe Generative AI Models>Toggle the switch and it will then be enabled.

Make sure they're looking in the specific place suggested in my previous post -- https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-beta-bugs/p-administer-is-not-allowing-access-to-nanobanana...

If that's not there, I also wonder if there's any versioning of the Admin console available?

I am with the same issue. The admin already allowed non-adobe IA, but isn't working yet.

I also get the same message as others when trying to use the Nano Banana model in Photoshop. Since I am also an administrator at my institution, I have access to the administration console. Unfortunately, the Non-Adobe generative AI models tab is not visible at all in the Asset settings section. Instead, Content credentials is displayed. I am attaching a screenshot below.

I'm the same as you. I'm an admin. and I don't see any tab in the Access settings that says Non-Adobe generated AI models

Hello,

I work for a school district and I am the Admin and User for the Admin Console. I can confirm that there is no option to enable or disable use of partner Ai features. I followed the directions of it's location in the console and it is not there.

LATEST

I’ve tried everything, but my Beta version can’t find any updates to the new release, including Nano Banan in the Generative Fill section. It just says I’m on the latest version—which is obviously wrong.

I saw a comment on LinkedIn saying you need to have permission to use third-party models enabled. Since I can use all third-party models within Adobe Firefly, I’m guessing that’s not the issue.

Does my admin need to do something so I can update to the newest version of Photoshop Beta? I’m so frustrated.

Or could it be because I’m in the Nordics? Maybe the new update isn’t available in Scandinavia yet?
So many questions, haha.
