After selection is active, I cannot use the generative fill button. It's visible, but greyed out...

I already switched from german language to english without success.. Please advice. Thanks !

Hallo,

ich habe gestern die aktuelle Beta-Version installiert - "Generative Füllung" war nicht verfügbar.

Deshalb habe ich die Beta heute deinstalliert und neu insatlliert - das Feature ist aber immer noch nicht verfügbar.

Why is the Generative Fill button not available?
If you find that Generative Fill is greyed out for you, it is possible that you may not have a valid Date of Birth associated with your Adobe ID account. To update your Date of Birth, you can do any of the following:
• Log into Behance with your Adobe ID and enter your Date of Birth.
• Log into your Adobe account and enter your Date of Birth. To learn more, see Error: "Not eligible to use Creative Cloud services".
Once your Date of Birth is up to date, relaunch the Photoshop (beta) app to enable Generative Fill.

First of all, that is very silly. This is not a "mature", must-be-ad-adult-to-use feature. Second, there is no documentation. I undersatnd it is beta at teh moment, but this would be a simple thing to document. Third, Adobe never asked me for a birthday, and honestly, I don't want Adobe to have my birthday. It should not be up to Adobe how I choose to use their product.

Hi @photo2bob Be aware that if you have previously entered a DOB and you are underage, the date cannot be changed.

If you have not previously added age verification, and cannot enter your age verification via Behance, Adobe Customer Care can assist you.

Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and log into the site. Click the chat pod on the bottom right and type AGENT to get a real person who can help. Be patient 1:1 customer care puts you in a queue. Or you can reach out on Twitter at AdobeCare

Olá pessoal, a ferramenta nova que está a disposição para todos os usuários adobe não está funcionando para mim. A ferramenta aparece mas não posso usá-la. É como se ela estivesse desabilitada. Fico triste pois gostaria de fazer proveito da mesma.

i have updated to latest version of Beta = Generative fill is visable, but greyed out and states "currently not available"

Photoshop Beta, Polish language version / Windows 10 /

I have a question. I have installed the latest beta version Photoshop because I wanted to use the "generative filling" feature. Unfortunately, this feature is not working for me. I cannot type anything in the text field as it appears grayed out, and when I hover over it with the mouse cursor, a message saying "access to the generative filling function is not available" is displayed. I have attached a screenshot for reference. I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you.
