Hello, I have updated my Photoshop. It's on the latest version. 24.4.0. I literally was using the generative fill yesterday, and now it's not even showing up in my window tab. I only see options and tools. I don't know what to do. No, I don't have multiple screens; I use a laptop. Am I missing something?

By @Jalisa MarieI have updated my Photoshop. It's on the latest version. 24.4.0.
The current version of the released version Photoshop 2024 is 25.0. Can you go to Window menu > About and check the number of the version you have open? Are you using Beta or Released or both?

Do you have the beta version installed? I wonder if you used Gen Fill in the beta and are now using the full release?

This same exact thing is happening to me right now. I also literally used it yesterday, and I have the lastest version of Ps, but the contextual task bar does not appear today. So frustrating!

Hi Jamia. Have you checked the Window menu? It's right at the bottom.
If it is already checked and you still can see it,
Hit the Tab key to hide your toolbar and all of the panels
Go to the Window menu and turn it on (Tab will have turned it off)
Your workspace will then be empty except for the Contextual Task Bar.
It's very important, at this stage, to say out loud:
'You can hide, but I'm always gonna find you, sucker!'
I find they never hide again after that.

Jane, try making a selection with the lasso or rectangle tool, or something else, and then go to WINDOWS and check the Contextual Task Bar. It worked for me.

I have the same problem. Tab does not help :(. It's not hiding in another window. Will keep searching for an answer.
