In versions 24.6 and 24.7 there are problems with the Liquify filter. The speed of the cursor on the working field (on the image) slows down significantly.
I installed version 24.5 which does not have this problem. But a window appeared with a suggestion to update Photoshop. And I could not remove this window. Can you tell me how to close or hide this window?
Beta versions are time limited, for testing, so you can't remove that notice. You don't of course see such a notice in the release versions.
Dave
just minimize photoshop and open again and it will be gone.
Those using various methods to avoid updating the beta, might want to read this : https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-beta-discussions/upgrade-your-copy-of-photoshop-beta-to-version-25-or-higher/td-p/13986957

Dave, I'm reporting a problem with the Liquify filter.
This problem is in the beta versions of Photoshop 24.6 and 24.7. Also this problem in the release version of Photoshop 24.6.
Earlier versions didn't have this problem.
The mouse cursor on the image moves slowly, and it seems to me with "jerks". The speed is much lower than specified in the mouse settings.
I am attaching a video showing the problem. I tried to move the cursor evenly across the entire filter window. On the image, the cursor slows down, in other places its speed corresponds to the one set in the settings.
The video card driver has been updated.

While users understand this is "Beta" there should still be a close button or an X to close that notification. I tried upgrading and it continually crashed so I had to go back to previous version which does not crash. Windows 11 operating system. Please consider having the team allow users to remove this notice because it overlaps the image I am trying to edit and no matter what I do to resize boxes, tools, etc it still overhangs the image. So far though, it is very impressive and helps tremendously speed up workflows. Thank you!

@joelm51256045 Given that Adobe provide the public beta in order to gain feedback prior to release, it is appropriate that they want beta users to be using and giving feedback on the latest version not a mix of several beta versions. Hence the effective expiry when a new version is available. If the notice was click and remove then many would not update and feedback/crash reports become less effective.
If a new version is crashing, then please ensure you are giving feedback on the crashes in the Photoshop beta forum:

You are absolutely right. This uncloseable message is very annoying and illogical even for the beta version!
