How to use generative fill to replace face with specific face from a different picture?

I just don't want to use these random choices, for face or a background. I want to use specfic pictures I choose, Just can't figure out how to do that. Thank you!

Hi @Safford31933438hy4f you can't. Adobe Firefly/Generative Fill only uses Adobe sources to generate the AI results. User inputs are not available at this time.

As a workaround, copy the center part of the face you need onto the picture, then use Neural Filters > Harmonization. Now select the area around the face in a broad Selection. Then use a negative mask inside the face part you copied, which in turn should make the center of your Selection. Now use Generative Fill (leave empty, or add a "." if you get guideline issues). Generative Fill will now try its best to "merge" the two meaningfully.

 

I use this approach all the time to get a very specific result without having to prompt for it. Cheers!
