I did try a re-install and looked through the forums and a number of suggestions people had but as of yet I haven't see the solition.  No doubt it is something simple and I am sorry for asking byt I have spent the last while looking for the answer and reading other replies but having no luck.

Ok Adobe support today helped fix the issue.

I had to exit out of creative cloud (as in close it totally).

Then go to /users/myaccount/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Then delete the OOBE directory.

Then I had to go to

/Library/Application Support/Adobe

and delete another OOBE folder.

Then restart creative cloud and all was good.

You need to select the Apps tab for a start, but the beta sub-tab is often hidden unless the page/window is large enough. This is the order they appear in, and you can 'just' see Beta starting to show.

Alternatively, click on the > iicon at the end of the line, which will scroll you to the rest of the options.  Pre-release is the last tab.

Hmmm...  It looks like you are special.

I found several threads from Mac users who had this problem, but I didn't see a definitive answer.  One thging to check is if your CC Desktop aoo is up to date?   (Click on the three bars top left corner > Help > About Creative Cloud.)

One thread mentioned reinstalling the desktop app fixed it for them.

I am a Windows owner, but I also have a 14" MBP with Sonoma, and I can see the beta apps.

OK, I have found a Help Page that might be useful.  Please let us know if you find an answer here.
