Photoshop regularly loses some of it's important shortcuts:
° The spacebar to move.
° The Alt key, to alt-click the mask or to Alt-Size during a transform.
° The Control key
° The Shift key
Sometimes PS starts with them not working, a restart fixes that most of the time.
Sometimes PS start with them working and loses it a long the way.

Hi @Erlend31793047qkwy are you talking about Ps release version or Ps beta, this is the beta forum and we want to make sure you are in the correct space.
What version of Ps are you on?

Yes, it was happening in Beta. I think the springload is the core issue. For now I've set the thing to max milisecond and it seems to be working. Thank you

Before I updated Photoshop Beta, I could hold down the space bar and the hand tool would appear so I could click and drag to move around the image when zoomed in. Now the keyboard shortcuts only allow a letter (a-z) to toggle tools. Is there a way to make it so that when I press the space bar I can move the image around?

Spacebar still works fine for me on Mac OS. Try going to Settings/Tools and uncheck "Spring Loaded Tool Shortcuts"

Working OK for me on Windows 11 with beta 25.1.0
Also still working with Spring Loaded shortcuts turned off.

I've moved your post from Photoshop to Photoshop Beta for you.
Spacebar still works for me to pan the page. Another application may have taken over the shortcut — possibly even a browser. For testing purposes, try this:
Does Spacebar work to pan the page now?

I've done this. Both the latest version of Photoshop (v25.3.1) and Photoshop Beta (v25.5) are broken when it comes to spacebar to toggle pan & command+spacebar to toggle zoom. I've turned off "spring loaded tool shortcuts" as suggested by others. The MacOS shortcuts related to spacebar continue to be disabled, so this is not a conflict.

I have this same issue, as do others (I'm seeing more reports of this every day).

We've had success using the Mac OS Keyboard Viewer to click the space bar a number of times (not hitting the key itself) to "release" the space bar and it's worked fine since.
Seems to be an OS input bug but fortunately it's a one-time fix. Hasn't come back up.

the hand tool is not activated by the tab key, and it is not possible to configure the pressure of the brushes

The Tab key will hide/show your panels. The Spacebar is the shortcut for the Hand tool.

Sorry, it was a writing error, it is indeed the space bar that is not working

Hi @Estudio29550972lmyd testing here and the spacebar is working as expected.
Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.
