Layer Mask Thumbnail Badge Option Appears To Not Be "Sticky"

Thank you Adobe team for the option to turn off the badge on layer masks in the Layer Panel Options. 

However in the latest beta (downloaded 10/27) this appears to not survive a relaunch. Option must be selected each time the app is opened.

Oh that's not good!  Same thing here Windows 11.

The best I can suggest for that is to at least have a shortcut to open Layer Panel Options.

OK, we know that every conceivable shortcut combination is already in use with Photoshop, but the key with that is that we can save custon shortcuts with custom workspaces.  This means you can reuse shortcuts according to context.  To make this work I have tiny actions that select and reset my custom workspaces, and trigger them with Function keys.

So here we go again. All the other Panel options are sticky.

How could the developers make such an obvious mistake? Will this now take months to fix?
