Photoshop Beta is not openning RAW Files which i want to edit in Photoshop. No matter what type of RAW File or Camera Model. I had to switch to basic Photoshop again. It only opens after its a Tiff file. I used to open 100Raw Images in Photoshop with bno problem... Since the last Update that is not possible anymore. Not even one File is openes in Photposhop if I click "Edit in" and try to open in Photoshop. Can you please change that asap?

Hi @Editor one HF want to make sure we are talking about the same thing here:

I am using Lightroom classic. The Version I have is 6.4. Photoshop Beta is Version 25

LrC was updated last night, the correct newest version is 12.5.
Lr latest as well is now 6.5
Ps beta latest is Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.0.0 20230801.m.2265 3a00623 x64

You may need to clean out your CCD app if something is corrupt:

Please install the latest Lightroom update to version 12.5 and check that the latest version of Photoshop Beta (25.0) are installed. Then it should work.

I talking also about Photoshop Beta.

Yesterday the update to lightroom 12.5 was released. With this update the issune with external editing in Photoshop Beta 25.0 has been fixed.

Install the update to LR 12.5 and it work. I've tested it with the combination Lightroom 12.5 and Photoshop Beta 25.0.

By @Editor one HF

Lightroom Classic 6.4 is this the perpetual version or is this the Lightroom 6.4 from the subscription?

It this is the perpetual version you have only on chance to install the latest available version 6.14.

You can download the installer application file for v6.14 here.- Lightroom 6 End of Support

I'll recommend saving the installation file for further usage. Because it isn't sure how long this download will be available.

If it's doesn't work I'll see only the way to export the images from Lightroom as a .psd or .tiff file. Then you can open it manually in PS Beta 25.0 outside from LR.

For further discussion it would be best if you write us more detailed information about your system. Otherwise everything else is just guesswork .

Which operating system and excat version do you use?

Which Adobe applications and versions do you have installed?

Do you have a subscription, like "Photographer Plan".

By @Editor one HF

As I have already written several times, there has been released an update to Lightroom version 12.5 since yesterday. This update fixes the "Edit in Photoshop..." issues associated with Photoahop Beta 25.0.

:camera_with_flash: Lightroom Classic 12.5 is now available - Adobe Support Community - 14013194

Please install the update and check.

If this doesn't work it's recommend to reinstall Photoshop Beta. Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Application to uninstall Photoshop. When asked, keep preferences! After this reinstall Photoshop again.

If this doesn't help  try to reinstall Photoshop Beta again, but here do not keep the preferences.

There is no possibility to update to 12.5. in the creative cloud (See screenshot). You can say that as many times as you want but that wont help me or other people.  Maybe some expert from Adobe can take care of this issue? Bildschirmfoto 2023-08-17 um 17.22.04.png
